Statement of faith

Mission Apostolique Golgotha “MAG” was founded by my spiritual Father, Pastor Dede N’Landu in 2017 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo where it is headquartered with a mission to bring back the heart at the feet of the cross of Jesus-Christ after gave him this verse 1 kings 18:37.

As a church Here is the statement of faith or the pillar in which the doctrine of our church is based for us to remain in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus-Christ. Proverb 22:28

1) The Bible or the Holy Scriptures constitute the inspired and infallible word of God. It is the law of faith and conduct of the Church in general and of the Christian in particular. The Christian must read his Bible, study it and like the Christian of Berea, he must learn to verify everything that is preached to him in the holy Scriptures (2 Peter 1:21 / 2 Tim. 3:15-17, Joshua 1:8).

2) One Trinity God, that is to say the unity of the one true and living God who is eternally

exhilarating in Himself. The “I AM” who revealed himself as ONE in three persons. (John 8:58; Exodus 3:14, Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29).

3) Sin through voluntary transgression leading to the fall of man, created however pure and innocent.

Jesus came to solve the problem of sin because that was what put a wall of separation between man and God. (Romans 5:12-21 / Genesis 1:26-31).

4) Salvation in Jesus Christ who died for our sins, who was buried and resurrected. Redemption is purchased by his blood. It is therefore through the blood of Jesus that we have been redeemed and can now be part of the family of God (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Titus 2:11, Romans 10:8-15, Titus 3:5- 7).

5) Baptism by immersion ordered for those who have come through repentance and received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (Mark 16:16, Acts 10:17-18, Matthew 28:19).

6) The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues. Whether it is

Glossolalia (known as the language of the angels) or Xenoglossia (a language of this world but not learned) (Acts 2:4-8; 10:44-46; 19:6).

7) The holiness of life (thought, speech, conduct) in obedience to the divine command: “Be holy”.

The Christian must understand the place of holiness in his relationship with God. He was set apart to be His. (1 Peter 1:15-16, 1 Thessalonians 5:3, Hebrews 12:14, 1 John 2:6).

8) Divine healing, that is, deliverance from the illness acquired by Jesus on the ordeal of the cross.

Jesus not only saved us from our sin, but through faith in his sacrifice on the cross, the Christian is healed from all his diseases (Mark 16:16; James 5:14; Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:1-5

9) Holy Communion, in its two species (bread and wine), ordered to every believer until the return of the Lord (1 Corinthians 11:23-24; Luke 22:16-20);

10) The second coming of the Lord or the rapture of the redeemed, the blessed hope of every believer. The Christian must know that one day the trumpet will sound. The dead in Christ as well as the living will join Christ in the air and go with Him. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-17; Revelation 20:5-6, 1 Corinthians 15:20-24; 15:51-57).

11) The eternal punishment of those who are not written in the Book of life (Revelation 20:11-15, Matthew 25:26).

12) The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the different ministries (the 5 major ministries as well as the others) according to the New Testament (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

It is God wish for us to access the fullness of Gospel that we believe as a Church with a sound doctrine so that we will be able to reach the lost and give them the Gospel of Christ and a Church they can call home.

God bless you all.
